Tony Tregurtha

CEO, President & Co-founder

Tony is a change management expert with three decades’ experience in driving cultural transformations, operational excellence and business process improvement. As CEO and President of Enlighten, Tony is based in Boston and responsible for the Americas and European markets.  His vision is to help clients deliver a quantum-leap improvement in operational performance.

Tony has been single-minded in his career focusing on how to create Operational Excellence. Whether it is developing new concepts, testing new methods or challenging traditional practices, Tony has been pushing new frontiers.

Previously, Tony worked for a range of large businesses internally as a Chief Operating Officer, and externally as an adviser to management. This has led him to have worked with over 100 large institutions in 15 different countries around the globe, including the US, UK, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, China and the Middle East.

Sharon Ritchey

Sharon Ritchey

Chief Strategy Officer

Sharon has over 20 years’ experience in executive management, focusing on P&L growth, Operations, Data & Analytics, Digital, Technology and Customer Experience. She has held leadership positions at Citibank, GE Capital, The Hartford, and AXA US and serves on the Board of Directors for private and not-for-profit organizations. 

She holds a BA in Marketing and an MBA from Eastern Kentucky University. In 2008, she earned a second MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  

Sharon was a client of Enlighten’s. Understanding the power of the solution, she became an advocate. She subsequently became an Advisory Board member, and most recently joined Enlighten as Chief Strategy Officer. Working with Tony and the Enlighten team, she is leading projects to enhance an already robust implementation model.

Dr. Ian Boyd

Chief Information Officer

Ian is a respected business leader and software expert with over 30 years’ experience in the information and communication technology sector. Having worked in a variety of project management, software development and senior consultancy roles, Ian brings extensive industry experience to the role of Chief Information Officer at Enlighten. 

Ian specialises in the architecture, design and implementation of innovative software products and services. Across every project, he applies strategic thinking to drive operational excellence and sustainable results. Throughout his career, Ian has created cutting-edge computer applications for a diverse range of projects, including document search, television, financial services and records management.

Steven Corry

Chief Technology Officer

Steven is a high-level technology leader with a strong background in solution architecture, software development and agile methodologies. He is a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist and has a 1st class honors degree in Information and Communication technology, specialising in Software Engineering and Network Management. 

Steve has designed and implemented a vast number of large scale, high volume, business solutions for large global customers. Outside of the corporate domain, he has architected and built  complete end user entertainment applications for consumer devices such as phones, XBOX & touchscreen displays.

Emily McMullen

Executive Vice President - Technology

As the Senior Vice President of Technology, Emily reduces complexities in large data sources and delivers seamless integration between client workflow systems and the Enlighten software package. Emily is a business leader with extensive experience in software development and operational improvement.

Emily was drawn to Enlighten because of their hands-on approach to coaching and mentoring clients through the management disciplines required to achieve true operational excellence.  Previously, Emily consulted to Australian government departments and banking institutions to improve legal and operational processes. She graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with Honors in Law and Economics.

Lee Gardiner

Executive Vice President - Partnering

Lee is VP of Partnering at Enlighten, overseeing the Client Success department and managing alliances with both clients and outside business partners. He specializes in strategic business planning, relationship building, and organizational change management.

With over 15 years of consulting and project management experience, Lee has a deep understanding of Enlighten’s product and methodologies. He is passionate about helping clients achieve the best possible outcomes, using detailed and methodical strategies crafted for each client’s unique goals and needs. Lee is adept at fostering both new and existing business relationships and partnerships, ensuring mutual benefit and leveraging benefits from both sides to achieve this. He is accomplished in managing business partnerships throughout their full cycle, from inception to fulfillment.

Having started his career in management/consulting 20 years ago in Australia, Lee has traveled all over the world leading projects for Enlighten. His professional journey has landed him in Boston, where he resides with his family.

William Kaminski

Chief Lead - Engagements

Bill is the Vice President of Operations for Enlighten's North American Unit, with 12+ years of experience in implementing successful continuous improvement change initiatives across a multitude of industries.  Bill oversees Enlighten Operational Excellence projects primarily across the banking and insurance industries.  

Bill was drawn to Enlighten mainly due to company’s excellent employee culture and the passion the company has for delivering sustainable results for its clients.  Recently, Bill has focused on developing Enlighten’s Internal Excellence Program, building and installing a methodology whereby Enlighten can continuously improve the way it trains, coaches and invests in its employees’ overall development and career progression. 

After graduating from the University of Kansas and serving as an Operations Manager for a distribution company, Bill began his consulting career with a primary focus on manufacturing and mining, eventually allowing him to take his knowledge and skillset and apply the continuous improvement methodology to environments in every sector of the economy.

Sean Claypool

Chief Lead - Enterprises

Sean is is Enlighten North America's VP of Enterprise Engagements and brings over 25 years of financial services and leadership experience to this new role.   

Starting as a mortgage loan officer, Sean quickly moved over to the brokerage industry where he spent 24 years at Charles Schwab.  While at Schwab he worked in both service and operations organizations where he gained extensive experience in business transformation, project implementation, and leadership development.  He held executive level positions in Managed & Advised Account Operations, Operational Hotlines, and Advisor Services.   

Most recently Sean was the Vice President, Operations Business Process Transformation.  In that role, he led the implementation of the Pega workflow management system. Also, during his last three years at Schwab, he successfully led the implementation of Enlighten to over 1,800 representatives and created an Enlighten Center of Excellence.

Sean prides himself in working with integrity, passion, partnership, while always maintaining client and team member focus.    

Zachary Barnhill

Chief Lead - Technology

As Vice President of Technology in North America and EMEA, Zach brings 8+ years of experience in Product Development and Technical Consulting to the Enlighten team. His outside-of-the-box thinking provides Enlighten’s clients with unique approaches to uncovering efficiencies within their business’s data, as well as innovative and customized solutions.

Zach graduated from University of Kansas and began developing financial services products for a Kansas City based start-up company shortly after graduating. His trajectory from there landed him at Enlighten, where he quickly moved up the ladder into a leadership role.

Zach was drawn to Enlighten because of their positive culture, exceptional product, and the passion for finding unique and impactful solutions for their clients. He is excited to continue to develop new solutions for Enlighten’s clients and beyond.

Deb is a global leader of human capital who brings more than two decades of talent acquisition, development, and retention expertise to Enlighten. She has led the Human Capital Management (HCM) function at numerous SaaS/professional services firms, supporting teams in the U.S., Europe, South America, Asia and the United Kingdom. 

Deb has deep expertise in HCM and is known for scaling high growth organisations through the lens of providing forward looking strategic counsel with a tactical hands-on approach. In her role at Enlighten, she is committed to attracting bright, passionate, and highly driven individuals to join our team and to perpetuate our collaborative and team based culture.

Leah K. Rogerson

Vice President - Finance

In the complex world of financial control, Leah is a true leader who has the ability to simplify complexity. A seasoned CFO, she has led the finance function for leading start-ups and mid-market technology brands for over 20 years.  She thrives in fast-paced environments and specialises in building scalable, integrated finance foundations to help businesses like Enlighten grow and maximise value.

Wherever she goes, Leah brings rigor and discipline to the finance function. Throughout her career she has been driven by a singular focus of partnering with CEOs and the executive team to establish and achieve corporate goals.   She has helped businesses raise capital, sell international subsidiaries, create spin-offs, develop budgets and cash flow forecasts, clean up balance sheets, navigate complex mergers, lead IPOs – all of which resulted in significant revenue growth, profitability, and free cash flow. Leah holds an MBA from the FW Olin Graduate School at Babson College and a BA in Management and Finance from Simmons College in Boston.

John Henderson

John Henderson

Chief Legal Officer

As Chief Legal Officer at Enlighten USA and Enlighten Australia, John manages the legal requirements of the organisation, working closely with the Advisory Board, sales and implementation teams.

After John graduated from law school, he established his own law firm, where for 10 years, he developed the skills suitable for assisting early-stage, rapidly growing companies. For the next 17 years, John became a stakeholder in pioneering projects in various industries across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the United States, including water desalination, hardwood plantations, telecommunications and software development. He established high-level relationships as an executive adviser for the founders of those small-medium enterprises.

Sarah Coughlin

Head of Enlighten Institute of Management

As Head of Enlighten Institute of Management (EIM), Sarah brings to the role an extensive career extending in customer services, contact services and administration, change management and performance coaching.

Sarah has had nearly 15 years holding key management positions both nationally and globally delivering change programmes resulting in sustainable performance improvements and behavioural change for the organisations.

Sarah is dedicated to enabling managers to manage through knowledge and education. Sarah’s focus on training leaders utilising EIM’s extensive training courses enables individuals to become the best they can be.

Dr. Greg McRae

Professor at MIT, Government Policy Advisor

Dr. Greg McRae

Greg received his undergraduate mechanical engineering at Monash University in Australia. Upon graduation he worked as a consulting engineer for Kinhill on large scale energy and resource development projects. Moving to the United States in 1974, Greg obtained an M.S. and Ph.D. in engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).

Upon graduation Greg had an initial appointment at Carnegie Mellon University before taking the position as Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Greg spent 3 years at Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director involved in the architecture of their next generation data centers, matching business needs with IT capability, the evaluation of co-location and cloud computing options, and restructuring approaches to financial and project risk management.

Greg is a member of many government, industrial and policy advisory boards including the National Research Council and the National Academy of Engineering. He is an advisor to several Australian government and shadow ministers and the University of Queensland where he was recently awarded an honorary doctorate for services to the university and Australia.

Nick Hurd

Ret. Managing Director, Russell Reynolds

Nick Hurd

Nick retired in 2007 as Managing Director of Russell Reynolds Associates, a position he held since 1985. During his twenty-two year tenure with the firm he consulted with Financial Services, Health Care, Industrial and Not-for-Profit clients in Executive search and Executive Assessment engagements. He also ran Russell Reynolds’s Boston office and led various national practices that served Wealth and Investment Management clients.

Previously, Nick served as Executive Vice President of Old Stone Bank, where he oversaw all commercial lending as well as various specialty lending groups. Prior to that, Nick had a long career with Hartford National Bank and with Manufacturers Hanover Trust, where he held senior management and other leadership roles.

Nick continues to be involved in numerous corporate and not-for-profit activities since retiring from Russell Reynolds. He serves as a board member of Emerson Investment Management, a Private Asset Wealth Management firm based in Boston’s financial district, and as a board member of a variety of not-for-profit organizations, including the Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund board and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. He is passionate about serving the local community and about helping entrepreneurial and innovative organisations achieve growth.

Nick is a graduate of Hobart College and Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Robert C. Salipante

Senior Banking & Insurance Executive

Robert C. Salipante

Bob has served as a senior executive in both the commercial banking and insurance industries. He launched his career with Ameritrust (formerly Cleveland Trust), culminating in Executive Vice President – Banking Services Group with responsibility for operations, technology and installment lending. After the sale of Ameritrust, Bob moved to Reliastar Financial Corp. as CFO and, ultimately, President/Chief Operating Officer (including one of two inside board seats). After the sale of Reliastar to ING, Bob led the consolidation of 25 retail businesses from three firms (ING, Reliastar and Aetna Financial services) into one large insurance business. He joined Sun Life Financial in 2003 as President of its US insurance business. At Sun Life US, he led the acquisition and consolidation of Genworth’s group insurance business. He subsequently transferred to Toronto and took on Sun Life’s international business, leading the acquisition of Lincoln’s UK operation. Bob left Sun Life in 2009 and formed Salipante Consulting LLC, which serves the financial services industry. Bob served as an outside director on the board of Deluxe Corporation (DLX on the NYSE) for nine years.

Jennifer Potter-Brotman

Jennifer Potter-Brotman

Jennifer has over 30 years’ experience in Senior Operational Management roles in professional services, working with public and private companies across a wide range of industries. Most recently, she ran the Boston Office of Russell Reynolds, a global leader in assessment, recruitment and succession planning.

Ms Potter-Brotman’s former roles include working in private equity and serving as the President and CEO of the Forum Corporation, a leader in corporate training and education. She is on the board of Maine Pointe, an operational implementation consulting firm, and serves as the Vice Chairman of The Commonwealth Institute, a nonprofit supporting women business leaders.  She earned a B.A. in English Literature from the University of New Hampshire, and attended the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.
